This policy explains what personal information The View at Anderson Farm, LLC ("we") collects through theviewatandersonfarm.com and when you plan an event with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Tour and date inquiries: your name, your partner's name, email, phone number, wedding date, guest count, the kind of celebration, how you heard about us, your preferred tour time, and your message.
- Partly completed tour forms: if you fill in the first step of our tour form and leave before sending it, we keep the name, partner's name, email and phone number you entered, and may follow up with you.
- Wedding professionals: your name, business, email, phone number, website or Instagram, how many weddings you plan a year, and your message.
- Design the Space: if you ask us about a date or for full access from our 3D planner, what you enter in that form and a summary of your layout.
- Emails you send us, and anything you share by phone or in person.
When you book with us
- Your contract and e-signature record: the name you type, your signature, the date and time you sign, your device's network (IP) address and browser details, and a fingerprint of the document you signed.
- Payment details you give us. Bank account details on a payment authorization are stored encrypted; we keep only the last four digits and the bank name in readable form.
- Files you upload to your planning page, your event plans and layouts, and your overnight-guest list (names, emails and phone numbers of the guests you add, including who is a minor and their guardian).
- Guest waivers and rules acknowledgements, with the same kind of signature record.
Collected automatically
- Google Analytics records the pages you visit, your device and browser, your approximate location and the site that referred you, using cookies. In our 3D planner it records which features are used, never what you type.
- Our own visit log records your IP address, browser and device details, the site that referred you, the pages you visit, time on each page, how far you scroll and how many times you click. It identifies a visit with a value kept in your browser's session storage, not a cookie.
- Our sign-in system sets security cookies that the site needs to work.
- Our emails record when they are opened and which links are clicked.
How We Use Your Information
- To answer your inquiry, arrange your tour and keep in touch about your date.
- To plan and host your event, including your contract, payments, guest waivers and the vendors working on your day.
- To send you emails about your inquiry or booking, including follow-ups (see below).
- To understand how the site is used and improve it, and to protect it from fraud and abuse.
- To keep the records the law requires.
Emails From Us
After you inquire, we may send you follow-up emails about touring and booking, and some of them are sent automatically on a schedule. They pause when you reply, and every one of them has an unsubscribe link. If you're a wedding professional, we may email you about working with us; those emails have an unsubscribe link too. You'll still receive messages about a booking you have with us.
How We Use AI
We use AI tools, including Google's Gemini through Google Cloud, to help our team organize inquiries and draft replies. The AI sees the details of your inquiry and your emails with us. Some replies drafted this way may be sent automatically.
Information Sharing
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with:
The services that run our business
- Google, for email, calendar, analytics and AI tools
- Cloudflare, for website security and performance
- Our website hosting provider
- A location lookup service, which receives a visitor's IP address for some links into our site
- Our payment processor, when you pay by card
The people working on your event
Your planner and the vendors you book receive what they need to coordinate your day.
Legal requirements
We may disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients, our guests or the public.
How Long We Keep It
We keep contracts, payment records and signature records for as long as the law requires and as long as they may be needed to settle a question about your event. We keep everything else for as long as it is useful for your inquiry or event, or until you ask us to delete it.
Data Security
We protect your information with:
- Encrypted connections to our site
- Encryption of bank account details
- Malware scanning of uploaded files
- Private planning links with long, random addresses that can't be guessed
- Access for our staff limited to what their role needs
No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee that information will never be accessed without permission.
Your Choices
- Unsubscribe from our emails at any time with the link in any of them.
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Children's Privacy
Our site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information from them. A couple may list a minor on their overnight-guest list, with a parent or guardian, so that the guardian can sign the waiver.
Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
